Blepharoplasty

Blepharoplasty, commonly known as eyelid surgery or an “eye lift,” is a surgical procedure designed to correct defects, deformities, and disfigurations of the eyelids, as well as achieve aesthetic modification of the periorbital area of the face. The procedure involves removal or repositioning of excess skin, fat, and muscle to address signs of aging or functional impairments.

The surgery rejuvenates the eye area by reducing puffiness, removing bags under the eyes, smoothing fine lines, and lifting drooping skin for a more rested and youthful appearance.

For 4 eye lids the procedure takes about 45 mins or a max of 15 mins per lid.

Lower eye lids don’t usually require stitches or sutures, upper ones are done using cosmetic absorbable sutures

Initial swelling takes a max of 1-2 weeks

People can return to normal life activities after 7-10 days
